Nursery

We are proud to grow our Annual and Vegetable seedlings onsite. We sell quality seasonal South Island seed potatoes and garlic, as well as bare rooted and potted strawberry plants from June onwards. We grow specifically for the seasons and Manawatu climate - a tradition dating back to 1874.

Garden Centre

There is always something new to see in our Garden Centre. Peruse our range of plants, including roses, citrus and fruit trees, as well as other landscaping solutions for new and existing gardens.

Indoor plants, gifts and other garden supplies are also available in the centre.

Florist

Our onsite florist, Rebecca, is a qualified professional with a NZPF Diploma and more than 30 years industry experience. Rebecca is passionate about providing quality, affordable bouquets for locals and is able to service Funerals, Weddings, Events and other Special Occasions.

The Exclusive Morrifield Tunnelhouses

We are proud of our long-standing partnership with Morrifield Greenhouses and have been dedicated North Island stockists for over ten years. Morrifield tunnelhouses are manufactured in New Zealand using New Zealand products, meaning they are extremely durable, designed to withstand our unique weather conditions. With easy assembly, and the ability to grow fresh produce all year round, you will not regret a Morrifield!

Rooted in Feilding's History

Locally owned and operated by Rebecca and Trevor Ward, Pedleys is Feilding's oldest nursery. Established in 1874 on the same site in Queen Street by Henry Worsfold as St Leonards, it was renamed by Bill Pedley in 1937. Clem continued the family business after his father Bill, and in 2025 Rebecca and Trevor purchased the nursery.

Today, the Wards look forward to continuing the legacy of Pedleys, providing good old-fashioned Friendly Feilding service and supplying the community with quality plants for years to come.
